Demonstration Equipments

MIFTECS has decided to choose 3 of our equipments for demonstration during MICET Open Day soon.

List of equipments:

3. 3. Vertical Sachet Packaging Unit ( Cereal Sachet Packing)

Booking Labs

From now and forward, all requests to use a food lab must follow a step below:

  1. Directly refer to Weekly Lab User Chart at Food Analysis Lab.
  2. Fill in your short name at blank column that refer to time and equipment needed.
  3. Please book a lab a week before or at least in a first morning every week.

5 'S' Program

Recently, Food Tech Labs Management has launching a new program called “5 ‘S’ Program”.

What is 5 ‘S’?

"5S" was invented in Japan, and stands for five (5) Japanese words that start with the letter 'S': Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke. Table 1 shows what these individual words mean. An equivalent set of five 'S' words in English have likewise been adopted by many, to preserve the "5S" acronym in English usage. These are: Sort, Set (in place), Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
